Spring green tea from Fuding, scented with summer jasmine blossoms that the tea makers pile and toss through the leaves up to six times. Jasmine first, and good hot or iced.

Flavor Profile

Tasting notes Jasmine blossom, spring green tea

The leaves are imperial-grade mao jian from a spring harvest in Fuding, on the border of Zhejiang and Fujian. The tea makers hold them in cold storage until the summer jasmine opens, then pile and toss leaves and blossoms together, up to six times, until the tea takes on the scent. Genuine notes that jasmine tea traditionally welcomes guests, and it drinks well hot or iced.

How to Brew

Loose leaf: 1 tsp per 8 fl oz of water at 75°C, 2 minutes.
Pyramid bag: 1 bag per 8 fl oz of water at 75°C, 2 minutes.

With honey: If you sweeten it, keep it to a little of our Organic Wildflower, mellow enough that the jasmine still leads.
