About the Honeys You Choose
Both are the same jars sold on their own, not a smaller gift version.
The 500 g honey. Wildflower is mellow, soft and creamy white, the everyday one. Buckwheat is the outlier: dark, liquid, near molasses, the one people either love or keep for tea. Organic Wildflower is lighter and more delicate, EcoCert-certified, from Alberta.
The 300 g infused honey. Ceylon Cinnamon is warm and sweet before it is spiced. Cacao is dark and thick, close to a chocolate spread. Ginseng is earthy and faintly bitter, the strongest of the three.
If you are giving it and not sure, the Wildflower honey with the Ceylon Cinnamon is the safe, widely-liked pair.
Where the Three Come From
Two of the jars come out of the Canadian Boreal Forest in Northern Ontario: the wildflower from a single apiary deep in the woodland, the buckwheat from organic buckwheat fields in the same region. That distance from farmland and cities is the whole point. No spray drift, no city, and the honey tastes the same jar after jar.
The organic jar comes from the wilds of Northern Alberta. Canadian organic rules require every floral source within a 3 km radius of the hive to be organic too, roughly 28 km² of protected forage, which is why certified-organic Canadian honey is hard to come by at all.
All three are single-source and never blended. Each traces back to its own fields and its own bees. The same family has kept the Ontario hives for three generations, since the 1970s.
Lab Results & Certifications
All three are tested every harvest at an independent laboratory: antibiotics, pesticides and glyphosate all come back non-detected. The Organic jar is additionally certified by EcoCert. Every document is public.

What Independent Research Says
Published findings on buckwheat honey as a food, from independent researchers, not from us. We sell honey, not medicine.
A University of Illinois study (J. Agric. Food Chem., 2003) found buckwheat honey taken with tea raised antioxidant levels in participants, and a later review of honey research put buckwheat at the top of the range for antioxidant content. That’s what the colour is telling you: the polyphenols that make it near-black are the same ones being measured.
If you came here from Manuka: published comparisons have measured buckwheat honey’s antimicrobial activity at or above Manuka’s in some assays. Manuka has a rating system (MGO) and buckwheat doesn’t, so there’s no like-for-like number to quote, but the research doesn’t put buckwheat a tier below.
A trial published in Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine compared honey against an over-the-counter cough suppressant and found honey did better on nighttime cough severity and frequency. It used buckwheat honey specifically, which is why it keeps coming up.

Which honey and infused honey will I get? Whichever two you pick. Choose them above and the price and photo update to that combination. If you are buying it as a gift and are not sure, the Wildflower honey and the Ceylon Cinnamon are the safe pair.
Why does the price change when I pick? Because the two jars are not all the same price on their own. The organic honey and the ginseng cost a little more, so the combinations run from $92.25 to $118.75.
What is the face mask, and is it food? It is a honey-and-hemp facial mask, for skin, not for eating. The lip balms and hand balm are also skincare. Only the two honeys and the maple syrup are food.
Are there allergens in the box? Yes, worth knowing before gifting: the balms contain beeswax and calendula (calendula is in the ragweed family), and the whole box is built around honey and bee products . Full ingredient lists are in the panel under the bullets.
Is honey safe for babies? No. Never give honey to a child under 12 months, raw or pasteurized. It applies to all honey, from every producer.
